Kyra Scott
Kyra Scott is an ESRC-funded PhD student working with Dr Melissa Colloff, Prof. Howard Bowman and Prof. Heather Flowe in the Applied Memory Lab at the University of Birmingham. Her PhD is in collaboration with Visionmetric and focuses on using psychological theory to guide the tailoring of generative models to control facial similarity and create fair synthetic faces for forensic applications (e.g., identification lineups). She holds degrees in Computer Science and Psychology from the University of Cape Town, where she also researched using Generative Adversarial Networks for producing facial composites from eyewitness memory under Prof. Colin Tredoux.
